App for Homey Pro

Fuel Prices France

Fill up at the best price, without thinking about it.

Available v1.1.9

French filling stations declare their own prices, several times a day. The app follows either the best station within a radius you choose, or one specific station whose price history reads as a curve. Above all it subtracts the fuel burnt on the detour and ranks stations on the net gain: eight miles often wipe out three cents a litre.

Dashboards

A widget is a tile you place on a Homey Dashboard: it shows its information without your having to open anything.

Cheapest fuel

Cheapest fuel 195 px tall

The fuel, the station and its price in large type, then the address, the distance and the time of the price.

Flow cards

Homey writes an automation in three parts: when something happens, and if a condition holds, then do this. Anything on a lighter background, such as radius, is a parameter you set in the Flow. Every condition also exists in its negative form, which Homey flips with one click.

What's new

  1. Version 1.1.9

Fuel Prices France 1.1.9 brings a refreshed widget and a few fixes that make the app more dependable.

    • The Cheapest fuel widget now fills the whole tile and offers five backgrounds: deep blue, slate, plum, forest and sand.
    • Tiles share a common layout: fuel, station, price, then the address, distance and time of the price, easy to read at a glance.
    • In the widget, you now pick the device from a list, with search.
    • When you add a tracked station, the list now starts with the stations closest to you.
    • Opening hours are computed in your Homey's time zone.
    • The “More than … % of stations are out of stock” card only fires when the threshold is crossed, not on every update while the share stays above it.
    • Changing a device's fuel starts from a clean price history, so old prices of the previous fuel no longer mix in.

Add the Cheapest fuel widget from your dashboard. In its settings, pick a device in the list (type to search), or leave it empty and choose a fuel to show the lowest price for that fuel. Then choose a background.
