Real-time measurement
Instantly visualize noise levels in dB SPL with a fluid circular vumeter and a real-time evolution chart.
Native application for iPhone and iPad
A modern tool for analyzing and logging ambient noise levels (dB SPL). 100% autonomous, passive, and secure, tracking your daily exposure without ever recording a single sound.
Features
Instantly visualize noise levels in dB SPL with a fluid circular vumeter and a real-time evolution chart.
Define your own noise threshold. The app automatically detects each exceedance and logs its exact intensity and duration.
Export your listening sessions in clear and detailed PDF reports containing statistics, noise curves, and exceedance tables.
Query a secure network time server (Apple or national) to get certified, tamper-proof timestamps for every noise spike.
Track and compare your noise exposure over a day, week, or month with clear and simple charts.
Instant local RMS calculations. No audio stream is recorded, saved, or transmitted. Fully GDPR-compliant.
Preview
A clean and modern interface with full Dark Mode support, designed to highlight data without distraction.
iOS Integration
Taceo integrates with native iOS features for rapid control of your measurement sessions.
“Siri, start noise monitoring with Taceo.”
“Siri, what is the noise level measured by Taceo?”
Instantly generate and share the PDF report of the last session using Shortcuts.
Data and privacy
Taceo does not record anything and has no audio transmission capabilities. This is the essence of passive analysis.
Microphone samples are processed locally in RAM to calculate decibel values and immediately destroyed.
NTP clock queries use the standard UDP protocol. No acoustic or personal identifiers are shared.
The history of threshold exceedances resides exclusively in your device's local SwiftData database.
GDPR guarantee: Taceo runs entirely without requiring a network connection (except for the optional NTP clock check).
